Qualifications

• Two years of technical level accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• At least one year at the full-proficiency level.
• Substitutions: Accounting Technician certification can substitute for one year.
• Post-secondary accounting coursework can substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Certifies IRIS financial transactions in accordance with procedures.
• Leads and guides three Accounting Technicians and provides technical guidance.
• Monitors workload for optimal efficiency.
• Oversees and trains Accounting Technician positions.
• Investigates and resolves financial documents on error reports.
• Processes adjusting journal entries.
• Provides quality assurance and continuous improvement.
