The Department of Natural Resources, Support Services Division, is recruiting for an Accounting Technician 2 in Juneau. This position is open to Alaska Residents only with residency defined by state criteria.

Join our SSD team to handle core accounting tasks. You will process payments, manage accounts payable, prepare journal entries, issue grant payments, handle IRIS security/workflow requests, and address payment inquiries.

Formación

• One year of entry technical level accounting or clerical bookkeeping experience.
• Substitution: Accounting Technician certification from an accredited college.
• Substitution: post-secondary education with accounting coursework (3 semester/4 quarter hours = 1 month) if it includes at least 6 semester/8 quarter hours in Accounting.

Responsabilidades

• Process payments for SEF billings.
• Accounts payable processing.
• Adjust journal entries.
• Issue grant payments.
• IRIS security and workflow requests.
• Resolve vendor payment issues and respond to inquiries.
