Largeton Inc. is seeking a Lead Accounting SME to drive the CIS implementation in Philadelphia, PA, onsite.

The role acts as the functional authority for accounting and financial processes across the project lifecycle, including requirements, design, configuration, testing, data conversion, training, cutover, and stabilization. The SME will bring extensive Basis2 knowledge, and fluency in how customer billing, payments, and general ledger activities support water revenue operations.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of Basis2 accounting processes.
• Experience with customer billing and payments.
• Understanding of general ledger and financial integration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Accounting representative for the CIS implementation.
• Provide functional expertise regarding Basis2 accounting processes.
• Define and validate future-state accounting workflows and system functionality.
• Review functional requirements, design documents, configuration workbooks, and business process documentation.
• Identify opportunities to standardize and streamline accounting processes with minimal customizations.
• Collaborate with Finance, Billing, Collections, IT, and vendor teams.
• Participate in system configuration workshops and design sessions.
• Validate configurations for compliance with City accounting policies and standards.
• Support data cleansing, data validation, and financial data conversion activities.
• Validate interfaces, payment settlement, reconciliation and GL postings.
• Assist in developing training materials and end-user documentation.
• Support cutover planning, production readiness, hyper care, and post-go-live issue resolution.
