Job summary

Legends Global seeks an Accounting Coordinator to join our Finance team at the Henrico Sports & Events Center, Glen Allen VA. You will manage hands-on general ledger activities, AP/AR, payroll, and monthly close processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.

This role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting or a related field, GAAP knowledge, and 3–5 years of accounting experience. CPA preferred. Competitive salary and benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• CPA license preferred.
• 3–5 years of professional accounting experience, with GAAP/GASB knowledge.
• Experience with general ledger, month-end close, and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the facility's accounting and general ledger activities.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and inventory functions.
• Manage monthly close process and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and supporting schedules.
• Coordinate with external auditors during annual audit.
