Job summary

Legends Global is seeking an Accounting Coordinator to join our Finance team in Glen Allen, VA. You will act as the lead accountant for the facility, manage day-to-day general ledger activities, and support timely month-end closes.

You will oversee A/R, A/P, payroll, inventory, and related reconciliations, while preparing financial statements, forecasts, and budget-to-actual analyses. Collaboration with the client’s accounting group and external auditors is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• CPA license preferred.
• 3–5 years of professional accounting experience.
• GAAP and GASB knowledge.
• Experience with general ledger and month-end close.
• Experience with sub-ledger accounting (AP, AR, payroll, inventory).
• Experience with financial statements, forecasting, and budget-to-actual analysis.
• Experience supervising accounting staff preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the facility's accounting function and general ledger entries.
• Manage A/R, A/P, payroll, and inventory sub-ledgers.
• Oversee monthly close and journal entries.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and budgets vs actuals.
• Coordinate with client accounting teams and external auditors.
