Job summary

Legends Global is seeking an Accounting Associate to join the finance team at the Long Beach Amphitheater. The role supports the Senior Finance Manager with accounting duties, ensuring ledgers, reconciliations, and monthly reports are accurate and insightful.

Requirements include 2–3 years in accounting (hospitality preferred), a BA/BS in Accounting or Finance, and strong Excel skills. Onsite work, with classic finance responsibilities and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office software required.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Performs day-to-day accounting activities so that general ledger, trial balance, and key account reconciliations are adequately prepared and monitored.
• Prepares and performs bank reconciliations.
• Prepares invoices and monthly revenue recognition journal entries.
• Prepares and performs or assists with flash reports.
• Various financial analysis and reporting.
• Assists in preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
• Performs A/R and A/P functions as assigned.
• Performs monthly account analysis on various general ledger accounts.
• Prepares balance sheet reconciliations and review with Accounting Manager and Director of Finance on monthly basis.
• Contributes to team atmosphere of Legends.
