Job summary

Allied Universal Technology Services is hiring a CWA Access Control Foreman in California. The role focuses on service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of access control and IP-based video systems across multiple client sites.

The Senior Service Technician will travel to commercial locations, diagnose issues, and apply effective resolutions while maintaining safety and adherence to installation standards. Strong communication and IT/network knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of field experience in security or access control.
• Experience with access control and IP-based video systems preferred.
• State licensing or ability to obtain license as required.
• Understanding of Windows/IT networks.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Willing to travel to client sites.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, troubleshoot access control equipment and IP-based video systems.
• Travel to commercial client sites to service and diagnose systems.
• Document issues and actions taken for tracking.
• Read electrical schematics and CAD drawings for low-voltage work.
• Provide remote diagnostic support and on-site service.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
• Work independently or in a team.
• Respond to emergency service calls on-call when scheduled.
