Job summary

Allied Universal Technology Services (AUTS) is seeking a Commercial Security Senior Service Technician to service, repair, and troubleshoot access control equipment and IP-based video systems at commercial sites across Northern California.

You will work with electrified and non-electrified locks, card readers, CCTV, and related devices, performing diagnostics and repairs while adhering to installation standards and safety practices.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of field experience in commercial security.
• Experience with access control and video systems is preferred (Software House, Lenel, AMAG, S2, Brivo, Milestone, Exacq, Axis, Bosch, Commend, DMP, Open Options, Notifier, Fluidmesh, ONSSI).
• Possession of state-specific licensing or ability to obtain one.
• Understanding of Windows OS and basic IT networks.

Responsibilities

• Travel to commercial client sites to service and troubleshoot access control and IP-based video systems.
• Diagnose and repair hardware, cameras, readers, locks, and related devices.
• Document service issues and follow installation standards.
• Read electrical schematics and CAD drawings for low-voltage work.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and provide remote support as needed.
• Work independently or with a team to meet deadlines.
