Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Engineer for our Costa Mesa site to bridge design intent with physical build for an autonomous air vehicle program. You will drive DFM, GD&T reviews, EBOM/MBOM alignment, and create robust work instructions enabling repeatable, scalable builds.

You will work hands‑on with technicians to coordinate integration, resolve issues, and push for continuous improvements in process flow and producibility from the outset.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical field (engineering, math, hard science).
• 8+ years in manufacturing or electromechanical hardware design/manufacturing.
• Proven ability to deliver electromechanical hardware in constrained environments.
• Deep expertise in DFM, tolerance analysis, and GD&T.
• Hands-on experience creating MBOMs, work instructions, and build flows.

Responsibilities

• Develop process flows by breaking large assemblies into sub‑processes.
• Guide EBOM structure to align with manufacturing needs.
• Write MBOMs, work instructions, quality plans, and inspections with a team.
• Coordinate integration activities and resolve on‑floor issues in real time.
• Drive DFM early in development with tolerance stack-ups and GD&T checks.
• Define build process flow and ensure design supports that flow.
