Job summary

Conservative Partnership Institute in Washington, DC seeks an experienced A1 Audio Engineer to lead audio for our broadcast studios and control rooms. You will own audio capture, live mixing, routing, IFB, comms, and overall audio quality for podcasts, television appearances, livestreams, and remote interviews.

You will establish audio standards, maintain system readiness, and help develop audio competency across the Production team, with occasional support for live events and off-site

Qualifications

• Experience as A1 audio engineer in broadcast environments.
• Strong understanding of live-to-air workflows and SOPs.
• Ability to setup and manage broadcast-grade audio for podcasts, TV appearances, livestreams and remote interviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead audio capture, live mixing, and signal flow for studio productions.
• Configure and operate digital audio consoles and microphones.
• Manage IFB, comms, and mix-minus for multiple feeds.
• Maintain system readiness and establish audio standards across productions.
• Coordinate audio for remote guests and ensure proper return feeds.
