Job summary

JL Entertainment Designs is seeking a Lead Audio/Video Technician to support residential, commercial, and hospitality projects in Chester County. The role is field-based, customer-facing, and involves installing AV equipment and leading a team on site.

You will troubleshoot, perform minor service repairs, and modify equipment while ensuring high-quality workmanship and client satisfaction. Experience with AV/IT setup and networking is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years’ AV/IT industry experience required.
• Experience with audio, video, surveillance systems and wired/wireless networks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to assemble, install, and troubleshoot AV equipment (rack, projectors, TVs, music systems, speakers).
• Run, terminate, test, and label cables.
• Configure basic networks (routers, APs, switches).
• Integrate AV within a network and train customers on usage.
• Manage time on site and travel time; maintain client relationships.
