JL Entertainment Designs in Malvern, PA is seeking a Lead Audio/Video Technician for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. This field-based role involves installing A/V equipment and leading a small team.

You will troubleshoot, perform minor repairs, configure networks, train customers, and manage travel time. A High School Diploma and 2-3 years AV/IT experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-3 years' experience in AV/IT industry.
• Experience with audio, video, surveillance systems, and wired/wireless networks.
• Knowledge of basic signal flow for audio, video, and control.
• URC Total Control systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform and lead a team to assemble, install, and troubleshoot A/V equipment including rack assembly, projectors, TVs, music systems, speakers, home automation, automated shades.
• Run, terminate, test, and label cables.
• Configure networks including routers, access points, switches.
• Integrate AV equipment within a network.
• Train customers on proper use of technology.
• Manage time on customer sites and travel time.
• Maintain positive client relationships and ensure equipment functions properly.
