Job summary

RemoteLeads is seeking a senior software engineer to own end-to-end development of Drive Commerce/WebGL configurators using Three.js or Babylon.js. You will lead architecture, code reviews, and reusable components for real-time product personalization.

You will map 3D configuration recipes to SAP S/4HANA materials and pricing, integrate Salesforce Commerce Cloud and PLM systems, and optimize rendering across devices while collaborating with 3D asset teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience in e-commerce storefront or configurator development.
• Hands-on WebGL experience with Three.js and/or Babylon.js, including performance optimization.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and React or Next.js experience; Vue is acceptable.
• Experience integrating configurators/apps with ERP, PLM, PIM/MDM, pricing, BOM, and orders.
• Experience with Git/GitHub, Jira, CI/CD, and modern bundlers like Webpack/Vite.
• Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP variant configuration/pricing/BOM, and OMS/WMS flows.
• Experience with Drive Commerce Customizer/Recipe API or similar configurator platform.
• Working knowledge of shaders, materials, responsive UX, ICC color management.
• Certifications in Salesforce, cloud, 3D/WebGL, or Scrum are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development of Drive Commerce/WebGL configurators using Three.js and/or Babylon.js.
• Lead architecture, code reviews, feature delivery, and reusable component development.
• Map 3D configuration recipes to SAP S/4HANA materials, SKUs, BOMs, pricing, and make-to-order flows.
• Integrate Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Centric PLM, Precisely EnterWorks, webMethods, Manhattan, and downstream systems.
• Synchronize configurator options, pricing, availability, and variants with product master data.
• Implement availability, lead-time, pricing, SKU accuracy, ICC color management, and moderation.
• Optimize rendering performance, memory use, frame rates, and WebGL stability across devices.
• Establish data contracts, versioned pipelines, monitoring metrics, and documentation.
• Collaborate with 3D asset teams to optimize CAD/mesh assets for web delivery.
