Job summary

Liberty Diversified International (LDI) is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician III to lead maintenance activities at our Phoenix manufacturing facility. The role requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and leadership in troubleshooting complex equipment issues. The position is full-time and reports to the Sr.

Production Supervisor. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, root cause analysis, and calibration of new equipment, with emphasis on safety and equipment

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years in maintenance tech/mechanic role in manufacturing and/or completion of LDI Level III program.
• Expertise in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems troubleshooting and repair.
• Understanding of basic HVAC and plumbing.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and leadership abilities.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate preventive maintenance programs for manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Implement solutions and perform repairs to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Conduct root cause analysis and develop strategies to prevent recurring failures.
• Oversee installation, setup, and calibration of new equipment.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on facilities including minor HVAC, plumbing, and boiler work.
• Mentor and train junior technicians, providing guidance and support.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records including work orders and parts usage.
