Job summary

Acquire4Hire LLC is seeking a dedicated Lead 2 Year Old Teacher to join our Woodstock, VA early childhood education team. You will create a safe, engaging classroom environment where toddlers explore, learn, and grow through a play-based curriculum aligned with developmental needs.

Qualifications

About This Role

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Lead 2 Year Old Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Woodstock, VA. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and supportive classroom environment where toddlers can explore, learn, and grow. You will design and implement age-appropriate activities that foster social, emotional, physical and cognitive development during these critical formative years.

What You'll Do

• Plan and execute a play-based curriculum tailored to the unique developmental needs of two-year-olds.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment that complies with Virginia state licensing standards.
• Support children through daily routines and transitions, including meals, rest time, and potty training.
• Observe, document, and communicate individual student progress and milestones to parents and guardians.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of one year of experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare or preschool setting.
• Ability to successfully pass all state-mandated background checks, fingerprinting, and medical clearances.
• Exceptional patience, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for early childhood development.

Nice To Haves

• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Active CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Previous experience implementing Virginia Quality Birth to Five (VQB5) frameworks.
