The Goddard School is seeking caring, energetic teachers to create engaging early childhood learning experiences at our Concord location. You will design age-appropriate activities, promote safety, and partner with families to support each child’s growth.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• CDA preferred.
• 2 years of previous experience preferred.
• Valid DHHS Criminal Background Check.
• Valid TB Test.
• Valid Medical Report.
• Knowledge of childcare programming, safety and emergency first-aid procedures, program management and customer service principles.
• Develops relationships and communicates effectively with children, parents, and faculty.
• Works productively without supervision within established policies and procedures.
• Highly motivated, takes direction well with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Dependable, adaptable and enjoys teamwork.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with good listening and follow-up.
• Ability to calmly address stressful situations while multi-tasking to ensure smooth school operations.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and assist infants.

Responsabilités

• Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children.
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
• Foster development through play-based learning (social, emotional, cognitive, physical).
• Conduct regular assessments to track progress and identify improvement areas.
• Collaborate with parents/guardians to ensure open communication and involvement.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
• Follow daycare policies and procedures to ensure well-being of children.

• Ability to calmly address stressful situations professionally while multi-tasking to ensure smooth school operations
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations. For Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
