Job summary

The Learning Experience Meridian is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Teacher to lead our 2-year-old classroom in Meridian, ID. You will guide daily routines and engaging learning experiences, fostering curiosity and growth while maintaining a structured, nurturing environment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in early childhood care, with strong communication and classroom management skills. The role offers a consistent 8:30 AM–5:30 PM schedule and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous professional daycare or preschool experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with toddlers or 2-year-olds preferred.
• Lead classroom experience is a plus.
• CDA or ECE coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily routines and learning experiences for ~2-year-olds.
• Implement LEAP Curriculum.
• Create hands-on activities through art, music, movement, and sensory play.
• Support language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development.
• Encourage independence and positive peer relationships.
• Support toileting readiness and transitions.
• Maintain routines and positive guidance.
• Observe development and document progress.
• Build relationships with families.
• Collaborate with classroom support teachers.
• Follow Idaho licensing, health and safety requirements.
