The Learning Experience Meridian is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Teacher to lead our 2-year-old classroom in Meridian, ID. You will guide daily routines and engaging learning experiences, fostering curiosity and growth while maintaining a structured, nurturing environment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in early childhood care, with strong communication and classroom management skills. The role offers a consistent 8:30 AM–5:30 PM schedule and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous professional daycare or preschool experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with toddlers or 2-year-olds preferred.
• Lead classroom experience is a plus.
• CDA or ECE coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily routines and learning experiences for ~2-year-olds.
• Implement LEAP Curriculum.
• Create hands-on activities through art, music, movement, and sensory play.
• Support language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development.
• Encourage independence and positive peer relationships.
• Support toileting readiness and transitions.
• Maintain routines and positive guidance.
• Observe development and document progress.
• Build relationships with families.
• Collaborate with classroom support teachers.
• Follow Idaho licensing, health and safety requirements.

Early Childhood Teacher - 2-Year-Old Classroom Location: The Learning Experience - Meridian, ID Pay: $17-$20 per hour, based on experience and credentials Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM-5:30 PM

The Learning Experience - Meridian is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Teacher to lead our 2-year-old classroom.

Two-year-olds are developing language, independence, friendships, and confidence at an incredible pace. We're looking for a teacher who can turn their natural curiosity and energy into meaningful learning experiences while creating a structured, nurturing classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead daily routines and learning experiences for children around 2 years old

Implement The Learning Experience's proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum

Create hands-on activities through art, music, movement, sensory play, and exploration

Support language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development

Encourage independence, self-help skills, and positive peer relationships

Support toileting readiness and classroom transitions

Maintain consistent routines and positive classroom guidance

Observe children's development and maintain required documentation

Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families

Guide and collaborate with classroom support teachers

Follow Idaho childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements

Qualifications
