Job summary

Bell & Evans in Pennsylvania is seeking a production supervisor to oversee daily operations on the line and ensure product flow meets sales needs. The role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Experience in a supervisory role is preferred, and the ideal candidate will coordinate tasks, train team members, and address issues

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Strong leadership and problem solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain awareness of product flow and ensure alignment with sales needs.
• Ensure boxed products meet quality requirements and have necessary tools and supplies.
• Manage team assignments and ensure proper tools for tasks.
• Address any safety or quality concerns promptly.
• Perform other duties as directed by the department supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Have constant awareness of product flow
• Make sure that all product being boxed is in conjunction with sales needs
• Responsible for knowing what team member is performing what task and make sure that all team members have the proper tools and supplies needed to accomplish each task
• Take a proactive role in assuring quality products are being produced by immediately addressing any safety or quality concerns
• Other duties may be assigned by department supervisor

Qualifications and Demands:

The individual must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, and procedure manuals. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with employees both individually and within a group setting. Must possess strong leadership and problem solving skills. The individual must have ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, as well as perform all the physical tasks necessary to complete the job successfully.

Education and/or Experience:

(Due to the high volume of applicants, only those who meet the minimum qualifications will be selected for interviews): High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or up to three months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
