Job summary

Everllence is seeking a 1st Class Machinist to set up and operate a range of machine tools for precision parts. You will fabricate, modify, and repair mechanical instruments, ensuring high-quality results and adherence to safety standards.

The role requires expertise with CNC machinery, precision measuring tools, and ERP systems, contributing to efficient shop operations and continuous improvement across the North American region.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in mechanical field preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent with 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience using precision measuring tools and safety protocols.
• Proficiency in setting up, programming, and running conversational CNC machinery.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Experience with crane, rigging, and heavy lift procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate lathes, milling machines, shapers, and grinders to perform precision machining.
• Machine parts to exact specifications; monitor feed and speed during machining.
• Set up and secure workpieces, cutting tools, and attachments in machines.
• Repair, install, adjust, and maintain industrial machinery including refinery/pipeline systems.
• Measure and test completed units to detect defects and ensure quality.
• Set controls to regulate machining processes safely and per specs.
• Safely lift and move metal stock; operate forklifts and cranes as needed.
• Perform other related tasks to support the machine shop.
