Job summary

Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is seeking a Leach Purification Production Operator for a leading zinc refinery. The role pays $19.00 per hour with a 12-hour rotating shift and overtime availability. Manufacturing experience is required; forklift/loader experience is a plus.

Responsibilities include taking tank chemical readings, cleaning parts, and operating cranes and other heavy equipment. The environment is hot, dusty, and safety procedures with PPE are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience required; forklift/loader experience a plus.
• Possess basic Math skills.
• Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Must be physically able to climb stairs and ladders.
• Must not be afraid of heights.
• Capable of working in a hot, dusty environment.
• Demonstrates the ability to work independently and with other members of the team.
• Able to work 12 hour rotating shifts and overtime.
• Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including PPE.

Responsibilities

• Take tank chemical readings.
• Clean parts and put back together.
• Operate cranes, loaders, dump trucks and other heavy equipment.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with Company procedures, rules and regulations.
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential.
