They perform comprehensive documentation, develop and modify care plans, administer treatments, and educate patients and families. Delegation, supervision, and advocacy are integral to their role, along with adherence to policies like the Baby-Friendly model. The nurse collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
