Job summary

HPC-Industrial, a Clean Harbors company, seeks an LDAR Technician to identify, document and tag fugitive emissions at refinery and chemical plant sites. You will use TVAs, OGI cameras and other instruments to monitor VOC leaks, record data, and assist in repairs while complying with EPA regulations and company procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• TWIC required.
• Confined space entry & 10 Hour OSHA Training (preferred).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and able to work independently.
• Must wear protective gear (Nomex, back belt, slicker, boots, air mask).
• Must withstand extreme climate conditions and dust/chemicals.
• Walk long distances, stand for long periods, climb ladders up to 300 ft, lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health & Safety is priority and follow safe work practices.
• Perform physical labor including lifting and moving heavy objects.
• Conduct routine inspections of valves, connectors, pumps, and tanks for VOC leaks.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain analyzers (FID).
• Record inspection data and tag leaks; manage inventory in LeakDAS/GuideWare/SkyBridge.
• Adhere to environmental regulations and site safety protocols.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to report leaks and verify repairs.
