HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, in Roxana, IL is seeking an LDAR Technician to join our safety-conscious team at a customer site. The technician identifies and tags fugitive emissions from valves and pumps to ensure EPA compliance, using TVAs/OGI cameras to monitor and report leaks.

You will perform field inspections, operate monitoring equipment, and coordinate repairs with maintenance teams, all while prioritizing health and safety in a demanding industrial setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• TWIC required or obtain within 30 days of hire.
• DOT regulations, EPA waste codes, manifesting & LDR knowledge preferred.
• Confined space entry & 40-hour OSHA training preferred.
• RCRA knowledge preferred.
• Strong mechanical ability and ability to wear 15 lb backpack.
• Able to work at heights and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Availability to work Fridays, weekends and holidays if needed.

Responsabilités

• Ensure Health & Safety is the priority and follow safe practices.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting and moving heavy objects.
• Field inspections of valves, connectors, pumps, tanks to detect VOC leaks.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain analyzers (FID, TVAs) used for LDAR.
• Record inspection data and tag leaking components in databases.
• Report leaks and coordinate repairs with maintenance teams.
• Comply with environmental regulations and site safety protocols.
• Travel to remote sites and work in loud industrial environments.
