Job summary

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, in Roxana, IL, is seeking an LDAR Technician to identify and document fugitive emissions and monitor using TVAs and OGI cameras at refinery, chemical, and oil/gas sites.

This role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and hands-on fieldwork with travel to remote sites and potential weekend/holiday shifts. Join a leading environmental services company and contribute to environmental protection efforts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• TWIC required or must obtain within 30 days of hire.
• DOT regulations, EPA waste codes, manifesting & LDR knowledge preferred.
• Confined space entry & 40 Hour OSHA Training preferred.
• Strong mechanical ability; PPE usage including backpack and related gear.
• Able to work at heights and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Availability to work Fridays, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of valves, connectors, pumps, tanks to detect VOC leaks.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain analyzers (e.g., TVAs, FID) and record data.
• Tag leaking components and manage inventory in LeakDAS, GuideWare, SkyBridge.
• Adhere to environmental regulations and site safety protocols.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to report leaks and verify repairs.
• Travel to remote sites and work in loud, industrial environments.
• Role is physically active and may require long periods of standing or walking.
