HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking an LDAR Technician to monitor components on an industrial route using a portable analyzer and data recorder. You calibrate equipment, identify leaks, and upload daily emissions data.

The role supports transitions from the military into civilian work life within a safety-focused team. Strong communication, ability to handle physical work, and willingness to work extended hours are required.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience in chemical plants or refineries is helpful.
• Willingness to work at moderate to high physical exertion.
• Ability to work in inclement weather conditions.
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities a plus.

Responsibilities

• Use a portable analyzer and electronic data collector.
• Analyze data, evaluate situations and identify problems.
• Meet internal and external customers' needs and expectations.
• Adapt quickly to change and consider new approaches.
• Develop factual, logical courses of action with available resources.
• Monitor components to detect emissions from equipment.
• Perform monitoring for an assigned route within a set period.
• Calibrate equipment to ensure optimum performance.
• Identify leaks and process leak tags.
• Upload monitoring activity to the customer database daily.
• Report daily emissions monitoring results.
• Communicate equipment changes with office personnel.
• Coordinate with plant personnel; perform other duties as assigned.
