HPC Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, in Linden, New Jersey is seeking an LDAR Technician to monitor components on an assigned route within an industrial facility. The role involves calibrating equipment and using an analyzer and data recorder to ensure accurate emissions monitoring.

Qualifications

• Strong communication (written, verbal and listening) is required.
• Must be willing/able to work at moderate to high levels of physical exertion for extended periods.
• Must be willing/able to work in inclement weather conditions (extreme heat/cold).
• Must be willing/able to work extended hours and weekends when necessary.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities are a plus.
• Prior experience in chemical plants or refineries is helpful, but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Monitors components in an industrial environment to detect emissions from process equipment.
• Perfoms monitoring activities for an assigned route within a prescribed period, reporting results.
• Calibrates equipment to ensure optimum performance and makes minor mechanical adjustments as needed.
• Identifies leaks and processes leak tags.
• Completes daily upload of monitoring activity to the customer database and daily emission monitoring reports.
• Communicates daily equipment changes with office personnel and plant personnel.
