Job summary

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking an LDAR Technician to join our safety‑conscious team at a customer site. You will identify, document, and tag fugitive emissions from valves, pumps, and related components, using TVAs and OGI cameras to monitor, report, and facilitate repairs in refinery and chemical plant environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and TWIC, required.
• Confined space entry and 10 Hour OSHA training preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude; physically active role with travel to remote sites.
• Able to wear protective clothing and work in extreme climate conditions.
• Walk long distances, stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize Health & Safety and follow all safe work practices and processes.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor.
• Perform routine inspections of components to detect VOC leaks.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain analyzers (FID).
• Record inspection data and tag leaking components; manage inventory in databases.
• Adhere to environmental regulations and site safety protocols.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to report leaks and verify repairs.
