Qualifications

• MSW in Counseling Psychology required
• Two years of experience with elderly or disabled adults
• Experience conducting interviews, assessing, and developing care plans with groups and community agencies
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker: CA

Responsibilities

• Assess, develop and implement care plans by creating appropriate response plans for participants
• Assess and make clinical evaluations and diagnose mental illness for participants
• Provide support and communication; support to social service department and make judgements on best course of treatment for participants
• Provide mental and behavioral therapy using strength based social work approach
• Provide counseling using applied psychotherapy of a non-medical nature with individuals or groups
• Facilitate direct therapy, make referrals or provide peer support groups
