Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work or Family Therapy from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker or Marriage Family Therapist in California to practice unsupervised.
• One year of verifiable experience as a LCSW/LMFT (to include new graduates).
• Two years of verifiable supervisory experience.
• Must pass pre-employment drug & alcohol test; background check; provide DMV printout.

Responsibilities

• Screens individuals for mental health, substance abuse, and anger management issues.
• Develops treatment plans for clients.
• Provides individual or group counseling.
• Oversees ACSW/AMFT within the scope of eligibility.
• Makes referrals to clinical psychologists, physicians, and psychiatrists.
• Maintains client records and prepares routine reports.
