Job summary

Massachusetts Financial Services Company (MFS) is offering a Summer Internship in the LCERM team, focusing on operations, process improvement, and AI-driven initiatives. The program runs 10–12 weeks starting June 9, 2027, with full-time hours (35–40 per week) and hourly pay, open to rising seniors eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Proven attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively and efficiently.
• Experience using AI platforms including ChatGPT and Microsoft CoPilot.
• Working knowledge of computer-based programs including MS Teams and MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook). Exposure to or interest in MS SharePoint is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the analysis of existing processes, looking for ways to streamline the workflow and/or improve process controls.
• Assist in developing communications across the division, and how best to deploy those communications
• Assist in a variety of operational areas, including logistics, audit controls, financial review, etc., and help develop or suggest potential improvements in same.
• Assist the Operations team in growing the implementation and support of AI within the department.
• Assume additional responsibilities as requested.
