Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Scientist LC-MS/MS Bioanalytical to design, validate and implement robust LC-MS/MS methods for small molecules in discovery to regulated studies. The role involves cross-functional collaboration, data interpretation and regulatory-compliant reporting.

The successful candidate will generate study reports, SOPs and publications, mentor teams, and ensure timely execution in a fast-paced, lab-based environment with safety and quality at the forefront.

Qualifications

• PhD, PharmD or MD is required.
• 5+ years LC-MS/MS bioanalytical experience with a Bachelors degree.
• Demonstrated expertise in quantitative mass spectrometry and protein/peptide quantitation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement LC-MS/MS bioanalytical methods with quick turnaround times.
• Conduct bioanalysis of samples from non-clinical and clinical studies.
• Perform sample extraction using protein precipitation, SPE, and LLE.
• Generate documentation using LIMS and electronic notebooks.
• Ensure data meets regulatory expectations for global submissions.
