Job summary

QPS, LLC is seeking a Research Scientist in the Bioanalytical (GBA) department to advance LC-MS/MS bioanalytical capabilities for drug development programs. You will independently manage studies, design and review protocols, and coordinate with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality data.

The role requires a Ph.D. in a related field and direct LC-MS/MS experience; CRO background is valued for seniority.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or related discipline (Ph.D. required).
• Direct LC-MS/MS experience for bioanalytical assays.
• If >2 years since graduation, experience with method development of bioanalytical LC-MS/MS assays; CRO experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple sample analysis projects with minimal supervision.
• Prepare and review study protocols; coordinate with clients and internal resources.
• Set up and maintain LC/MS instrumentation; ensure GLP compliance and SOP adherence.
• Train and mentor junior scientific staff; report study findings and summaries.
