KCAS Bio, a fast-growing CRO in Kansas City, MO, seeks a Scientist II to advance bioanalytical studies using LC-MS/MS. You will handle sample prep, LC-MS/MS analysis, and data processing while supporting method development and troubleshooting under limited supervision.

Ideal candidates hold a 2–4 year background in LC-MS/MS, bioanalytical workflows, and chromatographic techniques, with experience in regulated environments. Opportunities for growth and involvement in senior-level updates await.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's in chemistry, Biochemistry or chemical/biochemical engineering, or related field with 2-4 years of LC-MS/MS experience.
• Hands-on experience with bioanalytical sample preparation, quantitative LC-MS/MS, and chromatography.
• Experience supporting method development, qualification, and troubleshooting; proteins/biomarkers experience preferred.
• Familiarity with reversed phase or HILIC chromatography and standard bioanalytical workflows.
• Experience in a regulated environment (GLP/GxP) preferred.

Aufgaben

• Execute study activities including sample preparation, LC-MS/MS analysis, and data processing with limited supervision.
• Support method development, qualification, and optimization activities.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and propose solutions with limited guidance.
• Analyze data and prepare summaries for senior scientists to aid in client updates.
• Ensure compliance of study activities with study protocols, SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate study progress and risks to senior staff.
• Provide informal guidance to junior staff as needed.
