Job summary

SCIEX, a Danaher operating company, seeks an Application Scientist to support LC-MS demonstrations, method development, and customer training across North America. This on-site role collaborates with Sales, Service, and Product teams and reports to the Sr Manager, Application Support.

You will lead demonstrations, train customers, and help define new hardware/software solutions while staying current with industry trends and conferences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related life sciences field.
• 2+ years of experience with mass spectrometry, LC-MS, and analytical techniques; strong method development and troubleshooting for LC-MS/MS.
• Ability to present scientific data clearly to diverse audiences and build relationships with customers and SCIEX teams.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot instrumentation and application issues.
• Experience with small molecule quantitation on triple quadrupoles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver customer demonstrations showcasing SCIEX LC/MS products and workflows.
• Provide on-site training for customers on SCIEX hardware and software platforms and offer ongoing support.
• Collaborate with sales, service, and product teams to deliver pre-sales support and technical expertise.
• Develop new hardware/software products and thoroughly test them within the product portfolio.
• Attend conferences and training programs to stay updated and contribute to the scientific community.
