Job summary

SCIEX is seeking an Application Scientist to support LC-MS products in North America. The role involves on-site demonstrations, training, and collaboration with Sales, Service, and Product teams across Marlborough, MA or Golden, CO.

You will help deliver pre-sales support and develop robust application solutions for clinical and forensics markets. The position requires advanced degree in chemistry or life sciences and strong LC-MS expertise, with up to 50–75% travel.

Qualifications

• Experience with mass spectrometry, LC-MS methods development, validation and troubleshooting.
• Ability to present scientific data clearly to diverse audiences.
• Proven capacity to troubleshoot instrumentation and application issues.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver customer demonstrations of SCIEX LC/MS products and workflows.
• Provide on-site training and ongoing support to customers to ensure satisfaction and product efficiency.
• Identify growth areas with sales and develop application solutions with regional teams.
• Contribute to hardware/software product development and testing.
