Job summary

SCIEX, a Danaher operating company, is seeking an Application Scientist to support LC–MS demonstrations, application development, training, and customer-facing activities in North America. The role is on-site in Marlborough, MA or Golden, CO, with travel and cross-regional collaboration to deliver tailored solutions.

The candidate will contribute to pre-sales support, method development, and collaboration with Sales, Service and Product teams, while staying current with new hardware/software

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related life sciences field.
• 2+ years of experience with mass spectrometry, LC-MS, and analytical method development, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to present scientific data clearly to diverse audiences and build relationships with customers and SCIEX teams.
• Proven capacity to troubleshoot instrumentation and application-related issues.
• Experience with small molecule quantitation on triple quadrupoles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver customer demonstrations showcasing SCIEX LC/MS workflows and provide on-site training.
• Identify growth areas with business and sales units and develop application solutions.
• Develop comprehensive instrument/software solutions for internal use or customer deployment.
• Assist in defining and developing new hardware/software products and test them.
• Participate in scientific conferences, seminars, and training programs.
