Job summary

SCIEX is seeking an Application Scientist to support LC-MS product demonstrations, application development, training, and customer-facing activities in the Clinical and Forensics markets. You will collaborate with Sales, Service, and Product teams to deliver pre-sales support and technical expertise, reporting to the Sr Manager, Application Support.

This on-site role is based in North America (Marlborough, MA or Golden, CO preferred) with travel up to 50%–75% and opportunities to contribute to

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience with mass spectrometry and LC-MS workflows.
• Ability to present scientific data to diverse audiences and build relationships.
• Troubleshooting instrumentation and application issues.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver customer demonstrations showcasing SCIEX LC/MS products and workflows.
• Provide on-site training for customers on SCIEX hardware and software platforms and ongoing support.
• Identify growth areas with Sales to target key application areas.
• Develop comprehensive solutions (sample prep, methods, reporting) for internal or customer deployment.
• Participate in scientific conferences and training programs to stay updated.
