Job summary

Ohio Valley Bank seeks a part-time branch clerk to provide routine office and clerical support, handle customer calls, process payments, and manage credit applications for retail dealers. The role supports lending staff and managers, assists with mail solicitations, and maintains records with attention to cash control.

Associate's degree or financial experience is preferred; strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

• Safeguard cash and maintain cash drawer balances.

Job description

Provide routine office and clerical support of branch operations. Provide customer service by answering phone calls from customers. Perform routine computer transactions and process payments. Take applications for credit from retail dealers and process retail documents. Apply principles of good cash control, operate zero balance cash drawer, safeguard cash, maintain records and balances. Process credit and employment verifications and record information obtained. File documents and maintain files. Assist Loan Interviewer, Associate Lender, Loan Originator, Assistant Manager and Branch Manager as needed. Assist in mail and phone solicitations.
