Job summary

Hunter Recruiting is seeking a Chromatography Lab Technician in Ohio to provide analytical support across business units. The role involves preparing samples for liquid chromatography, generating and reporting data, and ensuring data integrity.

You will collaborate with the chromatography team to meet customer needs, troubleshoot equipment, and participate in safety programs while managing multiple projects and deadlines. A 2+ year industry background in LC or LC-MS is required.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Materials Science.
• Minimum of 2 years of analytical chemistry lab experience in industry with LC and/or LC-MS.
• Experience writing technical reports.
• Demonstrated project management experience including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build relationships with colleagues at multiple levels of an organization.
• Self-motivated with ability to handle, organize and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrate scientific curiosity and be results-driven.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the liquid chromatography laboratory by preparing samples for analysis
• Generate, organize, interpret, and report data in support of technical projects and service requests
• Maintain data integrity to ensure the highest quality of results
• Work with the chromatography team to understand the customer needs
• Potentially support additional lab groups based upon testing demand and workload
• Communicate and interact with a broad range of internal customers
• Meaningfully convey technical information across departments and divisions
• Troubleshoot and maintain test equipment and procedures
• Actively participate in safety programs, ensure compliance with safety procedures, and maintain good housekeeping
