Job summary

Onterris Payroll in El Dorado Hills, CA is seeking an Analytical Chemist to join our LC-MS/GC-MS laboratory team. You will operate and maintain GC-LCMS instruments, generate QC/QA-compliant reports, and ensure results are accurate, on time, and ready to inform decisions.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or higher in chemistry or related field, and at least one year of LC-MS or GC-MS experience. We value meticulous records and proactive safety in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year experience operating LC-MS and/or GC-MS.
• Knowledge of analytical methods, analytical instruments, general lab practices and lab safety.

Responsibilities

• Quantitative sample analysis.
• Understand testing purpose and determine if analyses meet minimum quality control criteria.
• Maintain organized records of analysis and equipment maintenance.
• Instrument calibration and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Work with Group Leader to improve quality and efficiency of analyses.
• React to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
• Performing other duties and responsibilities as prescribed by the Company.
• Compliance with Enthalpy's Quality Assurance Program and other policies.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the LCMS-Instrument Group Lead.
• Occasional split shift and/or weekend duties as needed.
