Job summary

Shyft Global Services, a TD SYNNEX Company, is seeking a warehouse associate to perform shipping, receiving, and inventory handling in a California distribution center. You will rotate across functions, operate material handling equipment, and keep a safe, orderly workplace while meeting attendance standards.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Occasional overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Working conditions: Distribution center environment with extreme temps, noise, heights, wet/humid conditions, and potential overtime.
• Knowledge, skills & abilities: ability to follow instructions, clerical and data entry skills, basic math, precision in details, effective communication, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform to standards in multiple logistics functions including shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
• Rotate between functions within the center (shipping/receiving).
• Operate material handling equipment.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Replenish workstations with supplies.
• Adhere to attendance and punctuality standards.
• Handle additional duties as assigned.

About the Role:

Performs to standards in multiple functions within the Logistics Center to include: shipping, receiving, and inventory control or utilizes various types of material handling equipment.

What You’ll Do:

• Performs to standards in multiple functions (i.e. productivity, performance, safety, quality, etc) (20%)
• Rotates from function to function within logistics center to include shipping/receiving (20%)
• Operates Material Handling Equipment (20%)
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment (5%)
• Replenishes workstations with supplies (5%)
• Performs additional duties as assigned (5%)
• Meets attendance and punctuality standards (25%)

What We’re Looking For:

Experience: 1 to 3 Years of relevant work experience.

Education & Certifications: High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Working Conditions: Distribution center environment may include: exposure to extreme temperatures high noise levels high places wet and/or humid conditions and outside weather conditions Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires. Consistent non-standard work or overtime as business requires.
