• Progress Tracking: Utilize student data and performance metrics to evaluate growth, refine instructional methods, and keep precise educational records.
• Team Collaboration: Partner closely with general education teachers, therapists, administrators, and families to foster a unified, supportive network for every child.
• IEP Management: Actively contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and maintain transparent communication regarding student development.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• Licensure: A valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Special Education endorsement (LBS1) covering grades 3–5.
• Core Skills: Strong classroom management, exceptional communication skills, organizational talent, and a highly collaborative mindset.
