Job summary

Ashton North LLC in Manassas, Virginia is seeking a Layout Technician to set the layout for installation crews on a data center project. This on-site contract role pays $45–$52 per hour and starts mid-November 2026, continuing through May 2027 with five 10-hour shifts weekly and 10 overtime hours.

Overtime is paid at 1.5x the base rate. Responsibilities include establishing control from benchmarks, surveying elevations, and verifying layout against drawings to avoid clashes and document as-built

Set the layout that installation crews will build from on a Manassas data center project.

What you will do

• Establish working control from benchmarks and gridlines; mark base plate and anchor locations ahead of crews.

Assignment details

Expected start: Mid-November 2026. Project installation is scheduled through May 2027; actual assignment length depends on the project schedule. Expected schedule: five 10-hour shifts per week (50 hours), with 40 regular hours and 10 overtime hours. Overtime beyond 40 hours in a workweek is paid at 1.5 times the base hourly rate.
