Job summary

Actalent in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Layout Designer to provide CAD drafting support for composite designs and revisions within a 14-month lifecycle. You will manage module drawings, capture meeting notes, and coordinate with Change Management and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of AutoCAD experience, with familiarity in Revit and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Designing and Planning, Architecture, Engineering and Tech Drawing, or Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Revit.
• Large commercial project experience, managing multiple projects simultaneously (250k sqft+).

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document all specifics regarding projects from site selection and transaction management.
• Coordinate all engineering and architectural specifications for each building type, including site surveys, existing drawings, and site visits.
• Coordinate initial architectural design and permit submittals as required.
• Develop and provide supporting documents for lease execution, such as site plans, work letters, schedules, and phasing plans.
• Develop initial construction schedules and sequences for phasing of construction if necessary.
• Create construction estimates for capital requests and other planning efforts.
• Manage due diligence, utility, and other coordination efforts prior to construction hand-off.
• Provide complete and accurate documentation for construction handoff, including contacts, drawings, permit status, and other completed work products.
• Maintain a repository for all pre-construction work products by site.

You will be responsible for understanding requirements, providing feedback to Change Management, and creating or modifying module drawings as needed. This role involves holding review calls, capturing minutes, and attending team meetings to manage stakeholders' expectations effectively.

Work Environment

This hybrid role requires candidates to work three days a week in the office located in Bellevue on Tuesday, Wednesday, and another designated day. The role involves working with multiple stakeholders and managing large commercial projects. The environment is dynamic, requiring collaboration and communication across diverse teams.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Bellevue, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $41.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
