Job summary

Outback Landscape in Idaho Falls is hiring a Lawn Maintenance Technician. You will perform mowing, edging, planting, and prevention tasks to keep client properties healthy and attractive year-round.

We offer training, a chance to work on residential and commercial sites, and biweekly pay with direct deposit. Expect 40+ hours, some weekends and holidays, and opportunities for growth within a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Lawn care experience preferred, but we’ll train the right person.
• Ability to operate standard equipment such as riding mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work 40+ hours a week, including some weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stay active throughout the day.
• Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• A dependable attendance record and a team-first attitude.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Mow lawns using both riding and push mowers
• Trim and edge around sidewalks, flower beds, and walls
• Plant seasonal flowers and overseed or patch turf
• Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides
• Trim and prune trees and shrubs
• Clear lawn debris with rakes, shovels, and blowers
• Shovel snow and apply salt to walkways and driveways in the winter
• Follow safety standards and keep equipment clean and well maintained
• Stay accountable and take pride in leaving every property better than you found it

Outback Landscape is a growing company looking for hard-working, dependable Lawn Maintenance Technicians to join our team. Lawn Maintenance Technicians keep our customers’ properties healthy, clean, and looking their best all year long. From high-end residential estates to commercial properties, our maintenance crews are the reason our landscapes still stand out long after they’re built.
