Job summary

Outback Landscape is hiring Lawn Maintenance Technicians to maintain residential and commercial properties throughout the year. You will operate riding and push mowers, trim edges, and plant seasonal flowers to keep landscapes looking their best.

We offer training, access to tools and certifications, biweekly pay, and a team culture focused on quality work. Snow duties and overtime may apply in winter, with a performance-based bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Lawn care experience preferred, but we’ll train the right person.
• Ability to operate riding mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work 40+ hours a week, including some weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stay active throughout the day.
• Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• A dependable attendance record and a team-first attitude.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Mow lawns using both riding and push mowers.
• Trim and edge around sidewalks, flower beds, and walls.
• Plant seasonal flowers and overseed or patch turf.
• Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides.
• Trim and prune trees and shrubs.
• Clear lawn debris with rakes, shovels, and blowers.
• Shovel snow and apply salt to walkways and driveways in the winter.
• Follow safety standards and keep equipment clean and well maintained.
• Stay accountable and take pride in leaving every property better than you found it.

Lawn Maintenance Technicians keep our customers’ properties healthy, clean, and looking their best all year long. From high-end residential estates to commercial properties, our maintenance crews are the reason our landscapes still stand out long after they’re built.
