Job summary

Obsolete Site is seeking workers for various groundskeeping tasks in Augusta, GA. The position involves mowing, planting, pruning, and general landscape maintenance on busy sites, with opportunities to operate and service equipment.

This role requires reliability, ability to work nights or weekends, and adherence to safety procedures. Experience with basic lawn care, weed control, and handling maintenance tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Three (3) months of laboring experience required.
• Ability to use, control, and clean tools and power equipment.
• Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions with multiple tasks without constant supervision.

Responsibilities

• Mows grass, lays sod; weeds flowerbeds, trims and edges walkways and lawns.
• Prunes shrubs and trees; applies fertilizer, waters plants, cleans drainage ditches, shovels snow from walks and driveways.
• Digs, fills and tamps soil and gravel in earth excavations; levels ground using pock, shovel, tamper and rake.
• Adjusts, cleans, oils and changes attachments on machines.
• Mantains stock of cleaning materials and implements used; notifies supervisor when additional materials are needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
