Job summary

P&K Equipment in Bartlesville, OK is seeking a Lawn & Garden Equipment Service Technician to diagnose and repair lawn and garden equipment. You will support service operations, maintain tools and inventory, and ensure safety standards are followed during daily activities.

The role emphasizes hands-on diagnostics, repairs, and ongoing training. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required, with prior small engine experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience performing service repairs.
• 1+ years experience as a small engine mechanic or small engine technician preferred.
• Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in turf equipment.
• Ability to use Service Advisor, Microsoft Office applications, and basic computer functions.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic lawn and garden equipment diagnostics and determines repairs.
• Performs basic lawn and garden equipment repairs as requested by the Service Manager/Shop Foreman.
• Participates in all job-related training and development.
• Prepares all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
• Maintains current product knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
• Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area and practices good safety habits.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
