Job summary

Purcell, OK-based Large Ag Service Technician role at P&K Equipment, performing basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance on customer- and dealer-owned agricultural equipment, with a day shift and full-time schedule.

Working under the Service Manager or Shop Foreman, you will maintain vehicle and tools, submit reports, stay current on John Deere products, and participate in ongoing training in a collaborative store environment.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and techniques used in the repair of agricultural equipment.
• Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to use standard computer software applications such as diagnostic software and internet functions.
• Good driving record and safety habits.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic agricultural equipment diagnostics and determines what repairs are needed, if required.
• Performs basic agricultural equipment repairs as requested by the Service Manager/Shop Foreman.
• Participates in all job-related training and development.
• Prepares all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
• Maintains current product knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
• Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area and practices good safety habits.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
